Hearts Afire provides scholarships for children from the United States, ages 8-18, to attend Christian camp who are in need of financial assistance. The camp experience offers children a life changing week filled with fun, while developing a relationship with God.

Scholarship Program FAQ’s

How much does it cost to send a child to camp?
Camp cost varies from $200.00 to $600.00 per person.

How is the scholarship program funded?
Scholarships are made possible through donations of generous individuals, organizations, corporations and from our annual benefit.

What percentage of my donation goes toward the scholarships?
Marketing and administrative fees are not deducted from the scholarship fund. Therefore 100% of your donations are used to provide scholarships.

What camp does the child attend?
Hearts Afire provides the scholarship to attend an approved Christian camp through the child’s church or youth organization.

How many scholarships are awarded each year?
Since Hearts Afire was founded in 2007, each year the number of scholarships have increased.  In 2010, 73 scholarships were awarded.

Who is eligible to receive a scholarship?
Christian camp scholarships are available to children ages 8-18.  All scholarship applicants with financial needs are eligible to apply.
