Today up at dawn, and ready to work. We all stayed up late and organized the pharmacy at the church last night since it was up to me to run the pharmacy the next day. Again a lack of a pharmacist and by now, as many of you know, my Nazi pharmacy days have become more lenient. Yes, I have become more lax in my old age. Ha Ha.
Well as I arrived in clinic which was all set up with our triage and small areas for doctors, I came to find out that we have two pharmacy personnel that have run mission pharmacies previously. Guess what that means? God provided where there was lack. Thank you Lord for always bringing provision to your children.
Today we saw 130 patients, performed five ultrasounds, saw six people receive Christ, and had two deliverances and four healings. One man with HIV came in with depression due to illness, family worries, and fear of failure as a husband and father. We prayed for him and he underwent deliverance and said he would be coming to a healing service tomorrow. A young 11-year-old girl who couldn’t read because of visual problems and lazy eye had her vision completely restored and her eyes straightened after prayer. HIV testing and education was given, but I will tell you that today was truly about a personal experience with God for all. I have learned that we must trust and expect God to do the unexpected and the grandiose. We serve such a great and awesome God and guess what: The Bible says that He knows us by name and knows the number of hairs on our head. Thank you Lord for loving us so much that You gave Your only son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
